El agroclimatol\u00f3logo Patricio Gonz\u00e1lez da un pron\u00f3stico del mes en curso, donde el cambio clim\u00e1tico sigue impactando en la poca ca\u00edda de agua y nieve. Por otro lado, se prev\u00e9n posibles heladas tard\u00edas a mediados de septiembre, afectando la etapa fenol\u00f3gica de floraci\u00f3n en el cerezo.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This agroclimatological report has two objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.- Proyecciones, para septiembre de 2025, respecto a la evoluci\u00f3n del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.- Ambientes agroclimatol\u00f3gicos que podr\u00edan caracterizar a septiembre 2025, a la provincia de <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Curic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proyecciones del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a septiembre 2025<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los modelos climatol\u00f3gicos probabil\u00edsticos (NOAA,2025) siguen favoreciendo que durante septiembre existan, en el oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico ecuatorial central, condiciones neutrales. Esto indica que no estar\u00e1n presente ni el evento c\u00e1lido El Ni\u00f1o (que favorece las lluvias) como tampoco La Ni\u00f1a (asociada a d\u00e9ficit de lluvias). El gr\u00e1fico indica probabilidades del 89% de que eso ocurra (barras plomas del gr\u00e1fico).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lo anterior se ha traducido en que el cambio clim\u00e1tico sigue impactando al clima de la zona central de Chile, fundamentalmente con una ca\u00edda pluviom\u00e9trica: a la fecha, en Curic\u00f3, han precipitado 395,3 mil\u00edmetros; lo normal 503,2 mil\u00edmetros. El d\u00e9ficit alcanza al 21,4%. En el a\u00f1o 2024, a la misma fecha, hab\u00edan precipitado 523,2 mil\u00edmetros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Otro dato relevante dice relaci\u00f3n con la nieve disponible. Desde Copiap\u00f3 al Biob\u00edo hay d\u00e9ficit. En el caso de la Regi\u00f3n del Maule es del 47%. A nivel pa\u00eds, comparado con lo registrado en 2024 a la misma fecha, el d\u00e9ficit llega al 48,3%. Lo anterior hace imprescindible un cuidado eficiente del agua para la pr\u00f3xima temporada de riego.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heladas y horas fr\u00edo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante este invierno se registraron heladas extremas. El d\u00eda 30 de junio la temperatura m\u00ednima fue de -4.4\u00b0 C bajo cero entre las 07:00 horas y las 08:00 horas. Su inicio fue a las 20:00 horas del d\u00eda 29 y culmin\u00f3 a las 10:00 horas del d\u00eda 30; 14 horas bajo cero. La segunda helada de importancia, el d\u00eda 23 de agosto. La m\u00ednima alcanz\u00f3 los -0.8\u00b0 C bajo cero a las 07:00 horas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La duraci\u00f3n temporal fue de 4 horas y 30 minutos en que la temperatura permaneci\u00f3 bajo cero. Desde el punto de vista fisiol\u00f3gico la helada de junio no tuvo impacto en los frutales, por encontrarse en receso (dormancia). La segunda helada mencionada, por la baja intensidad registrada y la poca duraci\u00f3n, no debiera haber impactado negativamente en las yemas hinchadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De haber habido, ser\u00eda en un porcentaje menor, dado que durante agosto Curic\u00f3 registr\u00f3 s\u00f3lo una helada en todo el mes. Situaci\u00f3n distinta ocurri\u00f3 en la pre-cordillera de Los Niches, donde la temperatura m\u00ednima, el d\u00eda 23, fue de -2.7\u00b0 C bajo cero, a las 07:00 horas. Se inici\u00f3 a las 23:00 horas del d\u00eda 22 y culmin\u00f3 a las 08:00 del 23 de agosto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una segunda helada se observ\u00f3 el d\u00eda 24, con una m\u00ednima de -1.4\u00b0 C bajo cero a las 06:00 horas. Su inicio fue a las 00:00 horas y termin\u00f3 a las 07:30 horas de la ma\u00f1ana. Si hubo alg\u00fan impacto en huertos ubicados en esta zona geogr\u00e1fica, debiera notarse posteriormente, durante la floraci\u00f3n de septiembre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Respecto a las horas fr\u00edo en Curic\u00f3, al 30 de agosto, se hab\u00edan logrado acumular 880,0 horas. Esta cifra est\u00e1 por debajo de las 1.173,0 horas sumadas durante el 2024. En Los Niches la cifra fue 1.102,0 horas. En cambio el 2024 hab\u00edan sido 1.236,0 (134 horas menos este 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En otro aspecto, septiembre es el inicio de floraci\u00f3n y plena floraci\u00f3n. Dadas las condiciones extremas que est\u00e1 presentando el clima 2025, se debe tener precauci\u00f3n con las heladas tard\u00edas. Este riesgo puede estar presente hasta el 30 de septiembre, sobre todo despu\u00e9s del paso de sistemas frontales de lluvias, los cuales vienen asociados a masas de aire fr\u00edo polar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hay estimaciones probabil\u00edsticas que a mediados del mes puedan presentarse estos sistemas frontales. Se debe estar atento a las alertas agrometeorol\u00f3gicas que ratifiquen o desechen este riesgo.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
