Por su parte, el agroclimat\u00f3logo Patricio Gonz\u00e1lez expres\u00f3 que \u00abla acumulaci\u00f3n de fr\u00edo se define como la cantidad de horas que permanece el cerezo bajo una temperatura de 7 grados. Esas horas en que permanece el cerezo es una acumulaci\u00f3n de fr\u00edo que hace a nivel hormonal. El cerezo requiere entre 900 a 1.300 horas en que debe permanecer acumulando fr\u00edo entre mayo y agosto y eso le permite, cuando empieza la floraci\u00f3n, no tener aborto de flores, no tener una cuaja reducida y no tener tampoco un deterioro del fruto\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es muy relevante que el invierno sea suficientemente fr\u00edo para que estas horas bajo 7 grados puedan acumularse en forma efectiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por eso es fundamental contar con los datos que entrega el informe de evoluci\u00f3n y comparativa de la acumulaci\u00f3n de horas fr\u00edo, elaborado por el equipo t\u00e9cnico de Avium, documento que permite no s\u00f3lo conocer ciertos datos, sino tambi\u00e9n poder comparar, tomar decisiones para los campos, por ejemplo en la estrategia de poda o estrategia nutricional y hacer proyecciones de lo que ser\u00e1 la pr\u00f3xima temporada de cosecha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
