Se puede identificar porque produce exudaciones o gomosis color marr\u00f3n, que tiene un caracter\u00edstico olor a fermento. Al desprender la gomosis bajo la corteza, se puede observar una \u201cherida\u201d en forma de grieta desde donde secreta la \u201cgoma\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante el receso vegetativo, adem\u00e1s de ser menos evidente, ocurre la muerte de material vegetal (ramas, ramillas, dardos y \u00e1rboles). Para identificar este fen\u00f3meno, se requiere una observaci\u00f3n detallada y cortes en estructuras con signos de deshidrataci\u00f3n. Esta muerte no es uniforme, afecta a diferentes partes de la planta en distintos grados y puede ser gradual, especialmente en \u00e1rboles grandes y longevos. &nbsp;Las causas incluyen falta de agua, bajas temperaturas, enfermedades, plagas y competencia con otras plantas. Entre ellos las sales de cobre son una herramienta conocida y reconocida en agricultura. entre ellas Hidroxido de Cobre (Hidrocup) \u00d3xidos Cuproso (Cuprodul WG y Flo) Sultafo cuprocalcico. Lo periodos y momentos de uso , en Oto\u00f1o comenzar con el 25 % ,50% y 100%; posteriormente realizar aplicaciones invernales realizar cada 20 \/30 dias hasta yema hinchada. Ahora, segun condiciones climaticas podr\u00eda aumentar el numero de aplicaciones , pensando en Heladas muy agresivas o lluvias intensas.
