El agroclimat\u00f3logo Patricio Gonz\u00e1lez entrega las proyecciones del mes de marzo, con un completo an\u00e1lisis de los principales eventos.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This agroclimatological report has two objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.- Proyecciones, para marzo de 2025, respecto de la evoluci\u00f3n del  evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a.
2.- Ambientes agroclimatol\u00f3gicos que podr\u00edan caracterizar, durante marzo 2025, a la provincia de Curic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proyecciones del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a marzo 2025<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Se espera que las condiciones de La Ni\u00f1a, iniciada en diciembre de 2024, persistan en el corto plazo, con una probable transici\u00f3n a ENSO-neutral durante marzo-mayo 2025 (66% de probabilidad).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Las barras azules del gr\u00e1fico indican que el evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a presenta un 95% de probabilidad que se mantenga hasta marzo de 2025. A partir de fines de marzo y hasta abril, estas condiciones se debilitaran. Las probabilidad oscilan entre un 59% a menos de un 35% durante abril. La proyecci\u00f3n de los modelos oc\u00e9ano-atmosf\u00e9ricos indican que, desde abril hasta agosto, prevalecer\u00e1n las condiciones neutras; es decir no habr\u00e1 presencia de ning\u00fan fen\u00f3meno: La Ni\u00f1a o El Ni\u00f1o (neutro: barras plomas de gr\u00e1fico). Las probabilidades que esto suceda oscilan entre un 70% para el oto\u00f1o y un 60% para el invierno. Probablemente las lluvias atrasen su inicio durante el oto\u00f1o.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • La presencia del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a en el oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico ecuatorial central, durante marzo, influir\u00eda en las siguientes condiciones probables:<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Baja probabilidad de lluvias.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Persistencia de las altas presiones sobre la zona central de Chile. Lo anterior asociado a cielos despejados, baja humedad relativa del aire y temperaturas m\u00e1ximas en rangos de 26\u00b0 a 33\u00b0 C.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  •  Las tasas de evapotranspiraci\u00f3n de referencia pueden oscilar entre 50 a 60 metros c\u00fabicos por hect\u00e1reas diarios. En el caso de presentarse vientos c\u00e1lidos, por la presencia de la vaguada costera, podr\u00edan subir a 70 metros c\u00fabicos por hect\u00e1reas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Las temperaturas m\u00ednimas se mantendr\u00e1n en rangos de 10\u00b0 a 13\u00b0 C. No se estima la presencia de olas de calor nocturnas (temperaturas m\u00ednimas iguales o superiores a 16\u00b0 C).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Estas condiciones de estabilidad clim\u00e1tica favorecen cualquier trabajo de campo que se requiera realizar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Proyecciones de las condiciones agroclimatol\u00f3gicas en Curic\u00f3 para marzo 2025<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    El gr\u00e1fico muestra que se registraron dos olas de calor durante febrero: la primera dur\u00f3 4 d\u00edas (6 al 9) y la segunda 8 d\u00edas (21 al 28). Las barras amarillas indican \u201ceventos c\u00e1lidos\u201d: es decir cuando las temperaturas sobrepasaron los 33,5\u00b0 C (UOC: Umbral de Ola de Calor) solo durante uno o dos d\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Cuando son tres o m\u00e1s, se habla de \u201colas de calor\u201d. Al igual que enero, cuyo promedio mensual de las m\u00e1ximas diarias fue de 34,0\u00b0 C (normal 31,2\u00b0 C), febrero indico un promedio de 33,1\u00b0 C (normal 30,3\u00b0 C). Ambos meses han sido los m\u00e1s c\u00e1lidos desde que se tienen registros hist\u00f3ricos. Esta situaci\u00f3n hace prever que marzo debiera presentar condiciones de calidez alta. El promedio normal, de las m\u00e1ximas diarias para el mes, es de 27,7\u00b0 C. Probablemente oscile entre los 30\u00b0 a los 31\u00b0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Estas condiciones de calidez extrema con que inici\u00f3 2025 son concordantes con el calentamiento global; la temperatura de la Tierra, promedio de enero, estuvo 1,75\u00b0 C por sobre su normal de 15.5\u00b0 C (calculado para 1850 a 1900). El Acuerdo de Paris (2015) estim\u00f3 que lo m\u00e1ximo prudente era de 1.4\u00b0C para evitar extremos peligrosos en los climas locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Temperaturas extremas m\u00e1ximas, nocivas para la fisiolog\u00eda de los cultivos, se han empezado a producir desde el 2020. El exceso de calor, durante enero y febrero de 2025, hace necesario estar alerta para ir monitoreando cada mes de este a\u00f1o, tanto desde la perspectiva t\u00e9rmica como pluviom\u00e9trica (mega sequ\u00eda). El clima se est\u00e1 caracterizando por  valores extremos, m\u00e1s que normales.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
