El agroclimat\u00f3logo Patricio Gonz\u00e1lez hace un an\u00e1lisis de las condiciones agroclimatol\u00f3gicas durante el mes de enero y tambi\u00e9n muestra las proyecciones.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los objetivos del presente informe son:
1.- Proyecciones, para enero de 2025, respecto de la evoluci\u00f3n del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a.
2.- Ambientes agroclimatol\u00f3gicos que podr\u00edan caracterizar, durante enero 2025, a la provincia de Curic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proyecciones del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a enero 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Los modelos din\u00e1micos y estad\u00edsticos indican que existe una probabilidad del 59% que el evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a se empiece a desarrollar en enero del 2025 y contin\u00fae hasta mayo o abril del presente a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su intensidad ser\u00eda d\u00e9bil; es decir la temperatura superficial del mar en el oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico ecuatorial central s\u00f3lo se enfriar\u00eda en 0.5\u00b0. Esto indicar\u00eda que la temperatura superficial del mar bajar\u00eda de 27.1\u00b0C a 26.6\u00b0 C (-0.5\u00b0 C). Un evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a suele durar un a\u00f1o, incluso a dos a\u00f1os y medio. Sin embargo, el actual tendr\u00eda, probablemente, una extensi\u00f3n temporal de solamente 4 a 5 meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las consecuencias para la regi\u00f3n del Maule, y Curic\u00f3 especialmente, ser\u00edan las siguientes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Ausencia de lluvias durante enero, con una probabilidad del 80%.
– Descenso de la humedad relativa del aire: de un 30% a un 25%, como promedio. Lo anterior entre las 14:00 y las 19:00 horas del d\u00eda.
– Aumento en las tasas de evapotranspiraci\u00f3n de referencia: entre 60 a 70 metros c\u00fabicos por hect\u00e1reas diarios. En el caso de presentarse vientos c\u00e1lidos, podr\u00eda subir a 90 metros c\u00fabicos por hect\u00e1reas.
– Noches c\u00e1lidas. Con temperaturas m\u00ednimas entre 14 a 16\u00b0 C.
– Alto riesgo de incendios forestales; debido a la sequedad y estr\u00e9s h\u00eddrico de \u00e1rboles y malezas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proyecciones de las condiciones agroclimatol\u00f3gicas en Curic\u00f3 para enero 2025<\/strong>
La probable presencia del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a, a partir de enero, generar\u00eda ambientes agrometeorol\u00f3gicos de sequedad atmosf\u00e9rica durante las tardes (20 a 25% de humedad relativa del aire), lo cual aumentar\u00eda la evapotranspiraci\u00f3n desde los \u00e1rboles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esto hace tener especial cuidado con la aplicaci\u00f3n del riego, para evitar estr\u00e9s t\u00e9rmico e h\u00eddrico. Adem\u00e1s, las temperaturas m\u00e1ximas extremas registraran valores entre los 35 a 37\u00b0 C, durante algunos d\u00edas. Sin embargo, en sectores de pre-cordillera y secano costero interior, podr\u00eda llegar a 38\u00b0 C durante la ocurrencia de dorsales c\u00e1lidas en altura, altas presiones c\u00e1lidas y vaguadas costeras, que contribuyen a la presencia de vientos de traves\u00eda que generan d\u00edas de calor extremo. Todo lo anterior en un contexto de cambio clim\u00e1tico (calentamiento global) que va en ascenso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante diciembre de 2023 se registraron, en Curic\u00f3, 8 d\u00edas con temperaturas m\u00e1ximas extremas iguales o superiores a 30\u00b0 C. En cambio, en diciembre de 2024, se observaron 15 d\u00edas con temperaturas iguales o superiores a 30\u00b0 C. Lo anterior indica que existe una tendencia positiva a que cada verano los d\u00edas de calor tienda a aumentar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lo expuesto proyecta que, durante enero del presente a\u00f1o, debieran producirse olas de calor (tres d\u00edas o m\u00e1s con temperaturas m\u00e1ximas extremas sobre 33.7\u00b0 C) y eventos c\u00e1lidos extremos (solo dos d\u00edas iguales o superior a 33.7\u00b0 C) por sobre lo normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las recomendaciones \u00fatiles son a protegerse de las altas tasas de radiaci\u00f3n ultravioleta; mantener los riegos m\u00e1s frecuentes, contabilizando los valores de humedad disponible en el suelo; y evitar hacer labores en el campo posterior a las 13:00 horas del d\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estar atento a las alertas respecto de la ocurrencia de olas de calor, o la presencia de eventos extremos en las temperaturas m\u00e1ximas diarias de la tarde. Seg\u00fan las estad\u00edsticas, la mayor cantidad de d\u00edas de calor, respecto de valores t\u00e9rmicos muy altos diarios, se producen entre la segunda quincena de enero y primera quincena de febrero.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
