El viernes 25 de octubre, a primera hora del d\u00eda, se dio inicio a la cosecha de cerezas en el huerto Tabal\u00ed, el m\u00e1s antiguo de la zona de Ovalle. Smartcherry TV viaj\u00f3 hasta la zona para cubrir el inicio de la temporada con la recolecci\u00f3n de los primores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abNos encontramos en el huerto de cerezas m\u00e1s antiguo de la zona de Ovalle, en el sector de Tabal\u00ed, estamos partiendo la cosecha hoy 25 de octubre, en las fechas que te\u00edamos proyectada de acuerdo a la fenolog\u00eda. Estamos muy contentos porque partimos de muy buena forma, el d\u00eda nos acompa\u00f1\u00f3, en los \u00faltimos d\u00edas hemos alcanzado la madurez suficiente para alcanzar la calidad y condici\u00f3n suficiente para la fruta<\/em>\u00ab, detall\u00f3 Jorge Astudillo, gerente de producci\u00f3n de Agroindustrial Valle Arriba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tras una temporada 2023-2024 con condiciones invernales que afectaron la producci\u00f3n, se espera que la presente campa\u00f1a tenga un pleno potencial de producci\u00f3n, llegando a 15 mil-16 mil kilos por hect\u00e1rea, con una cosecha bastante concentrada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abEstamos con alrededor 50 personas en cosecha, partimos a las 07 de la ma\u00f1ana, esperamos terminar al mediod\u00eda, 13 horas y lo bueno es que estamos teniendo una distribuci\u00f3n de calibre perfecta, casi el 70 por ciento esta de 2J hacia arriba, sobre 28 mm y la condici\u00f3n de la fruta est\u00e1 como corresponde, con el color rojo caoba, rojo completo, y ya en el frigor\u00edfico hemos tenido los primeros registros de temperatura de pulpa que est\u00e1n en torno a 7\u00baC, as\u00ed que todas las condiciones se est\u00e1n dando para que sea un muy inicio de temporada<\/em>\u00ab, agreg\u00f3 Astudillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Primeros env\u00edos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la primera jornada de cosecha en el huerto Tabal\u00ed, conversamos con el Jefe T\u00e9cnico comercial de la zona centro-norte de Garc\u00e9s Fruit, Andr\u00e9s Manzur, quien se refiri\u00f3 al rol de la exportadora en esta nueva temporada: \u00abNosotros principalmente, nuestra labor es verificar que se est\u00e9 cosechando la fruta de buena manera, tanto con el cuidado necesario para que no sea machucada, que se coseche con el color que se requiere para exportaci\u00f3n, y ayudar al productor en todo lo que sea gu\u00edas de despacho y toda la informaci\u00f3n que requieren para que la fruta pueda llegar a la planta de proceso\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si bien con retraso de una semana respecto del a\u00f1o pasado, el hist\u00f3rico huerto de Tabal\u00ed, el m\u00e1s antiguo de la regi\u00f3n de Ovalle, dio inicio a la cosecha de cerezas primores y a su primer env\u00edo a China, el que fue recepcionado con la algarab\u00eda que caracteriza al mercado asi\u00e1tico. Se inicia as\u00ed una nueva campa\u00f1a de cerezas en la zona norte del pa\u00eds, en una temporada que promete ser hist\u00f3rica en cuanto a exportaciones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
