Las importaciones de cerezas chilenas han ocupado hasta el 82% de las ventas totales de frutas de Chile a Hong Kong.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>La apertura del r\u00e9gimen de importaci\u00f3n de alimentos de Hong Kong y sus consumidores que viajan mucho y exigen una amplia gama de ofertas de frutas, hacen de esta ciudad un excelente y competitivo destino de exportaci\u00f3n de fruta fresca.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>De acuerdo con un informe del Departamento de Agricultura de EEUU (USDA) Hong Kong (China) se ubica como uno los principales destinos a los que exportadores de todo el mundo env\u00edan sus frutas frescas. Las tierras de cultivo en Hong Kong son limitadas. En 2022, la producci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola local (ganado y cultivos) produjo alrededor de US$ 173 millones en alimentos frescos. Por ello, Hong Kong depende de las importaciones de productos frescos para alimentar a sus 7,3 millones de residentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La apertura del r\u00e9gimen de importaci\u00f3n de alimentos de Hong Kong y sus consumidores que viajan mucho y exigen una amplia gama de ofertas de frutas, hacen de esta ciudad un excelente y competitivo destino de exportaci\u00f3n de fruta fresca. Los consumidores de Hong Kong son conscientes de su salud y las frutas son una parte integral de su dieta diaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2022, las exportaciones estadounidenses de fruta fresca a Hong Kong disminuyeron un 27%, hasta los&nbsp; US$ 105 millones respecto a&nbsp; 2021. Los altos precios y las interrupciones en la log\u00edstica de env\u00edo como resultado de la pandemia contribuyeron a la ca\u00edda ese a\u00f1o. El mercado de Hong Kong prefiere ampliamente las naranjas estadounidenses por su calidad. Hong Kong reexporta el 70% de sus importaciones de fruta y su principal destino es China continental (98%) por un total de US $2.600 millones. Las importaciones de cerezas chilenas han ocupado hasta el 82% de las ventas totales de frutas de Chile a Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el USDA, aunque EEUU tambi\u00e9n suministra cerezas, las chilenas tienen una estacionalidad diferente que las estadounidenses ya que estas maduran entre abril y julio, mientras que las chilenas lo hacen durante el invierno. Como las familias de Hong Kong suelen tener un par de celebraciones en invierno (Navidad, A\u00f1o Nuevo y A\u00f1o Nuevo Lunar), las frutas se utilizan popularmente en las reuniones familiares o como regalo. Por lo tanto, hay una gran demanda de frutas de primera calidad durante este periodo. Por otra parte, los durians tailandeses representan el 76% de las ventas de fruta de Tailandia a la ciudad. Los hongkoneses tienen preferencia por esta fruta tropical por su sabor aut\u00e9ntico, textura suave y sabor dulce.
