Las cerezas frescas y la carne de cerdo fueron las principales exportaciones no cobre de la Regi\u00f3n de O’Higgins durante el a\u00f1o pasado, destac\u00f3 la directora regional de ProChile, Sof\u00eda Silva Baeza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa regi\u00f3n sigue siendo l\u00edder en materia de exportaciones de productos agropecuarios, con env\u00edos que superaron el a\u00f1o pasado los US$ 4 mil millones y que ya durante los dos primeros meses de 2023 sobrepasaron los US$ 1.550 millones\u201d,<\/em> indic\u00f3 Silva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los principales productos de este sector son las cerezas frescas (US$ 1.334 millones exportados el 2022), carne de porcinos (US$ 686 millones) y carne de ave (US$ 524 millones)\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En total, las exportaciones regionales no cobre alcanzaron el a\u00f1o pasado los US$ 4.918 millones, siendo otros sectores relevantes los vinos (US$ 392 millones), los minerales excepto cobre (US$ 215 millones), las manufacturas (US$ 26 millones) y los servicios (US$ 11 millones).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Otros productos agropecuarios relevantes exportados durante el 2022 por la Regi\u00f3n de O\u00b4Higgins son las uvas, ciruelas, manzanas, duraznos, peras y ar\u00e1ndanos frescos. Tambi\u00e9n aparecen las nueces, tomate procesado (conserva, pur\u00e9 y jugo) y ciruelas deshidratadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La directora regional de ProChile inform\u00f3 que el a\u00f1o pasado los principales mercados de destino de las exportaciones regionales de productos agropecuarios fueron China (41 % de participaci\u00f3n), Estados Unidos (15 %), Jap\u00f3n (7 %) y M\u00e9xico (6 %).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEn ProChile buscaremos potenciar estas capacidades exportadoras de la Regi\u00f3n de O\u00b4Higgins, apoyando a las empresas para agregar valor a sus productos y diversificar los mercados de destino. Adem\u00e1s, realizaremos un trabajo en impulsar las exportaciones manufactureras, especialmente en alianza con centros tecnol\u00f3gicos, que signifiquen agregar valor, tecnolog\u00eda e innovaci\u00f3n a los productos locales\u201d, <\/em>a\u00f1adi\u00f3 Sof\u00eda Silva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo, dijo que se ha detectado que \u201cla regi\u00f3n tiene Pymes con capacidad exportadora que a\u00fan no han saludo a los mercados internacionales o lo han hecho, pero de forma intermitente. Es en estas empresas donde nos concentraremos durante este a\u00f1o, para apoyarlas a que exporten en forma m\u00e1s sostenida y permanente\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
