{"id":19745,"date":"2023-01-24T10:02:29","date_gmt":"2023-01-24T13:02:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/smartcherry.cl\/?p=19745"},"modified":"2024-09-24T14:40:08","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T18:40:08","slug":"rovensa-completa-la-adquisicion-de-mip-agro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smartcherry.cl\/en\/noticias\/rovensa-completa-la-adquisicion-de-mip-agro\/","title":{"rendered":"Rovensa completes the acquisition of MIP-Agro\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rovensa, a global leader in agricultural inputs for sustainable agriculture, announces that it has completed the acquisition of MIP-Agro, a leader in zero-waste biocontrol and biostimulants in Chile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based in Requ\u00ednoa, MIP-Agro has been a business partner of Rovensa in Chile since 2004, and a pioneer in promoting solutions for sustainable agriculture in the region, with a commercial and technical team that works closely with more than 2,500 farmers. Its focus is on high-value crops such as cherries, table grapes, blueberries, nuts and citrus fruits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This transaction allows Rovensa to strengthen its leadership position in Latin America, particularly in Chile (the second largest export market for fruits and vegetables), allowing for cross-selling synergies with Rovensa\u2019s broader portfolio of biosolutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MIP-Agro will continue to be led by the current management team and will be integrated into Rovensa&#039;s structure in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rovensa CEO Eric van Innis announces the news stating that&nbsp;<em>\u201cBoth companies share a similar business culture and go-to-market approach. Over the past five years, we have expanded our global presence and strengthened our biosolutions portfolio by acquiring 10 market-leading companies. With MIP Agro, we are increasing our market presence in Chile and strengthening our strategic position in Latin America to better serve our distributors and farmers, driving a biotransformation in agriculture.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sebasti\u00e1n Jim\u00e9nez, founder and CEO of MIP-Agro, added&nbsp;<em>\u201cWe are very pleased to be part of Rovensa and honored to be able to contribute to its mission.
