Con cuatro expositores en el auditorio y 19 stand en la feria, se llev\u00f3 a cabo la primera versi\u00f3n de la Expo que reuni\u00f3 a diversas empresas p\u00fablicas y privadas dedicadas a la agricultura sostenible.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con el objetivo de promover la agronom\u00eda sostenible y fortalecer el v\u00ednculo de la Escuela de Agronom\u00eda de la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Maule (UCM) con la comunidad, adem\u00e1s de las entidades p\u00fablicas y privadas, es que se realiz\u00f3 la primera versi\u00f3n de la Expo Agro-sostenible, en el Campus San Isidro de la sede Curic\u00f3, la cual cont\u00f3 con 19 stand de empresas relacionadas con la agricultura y con cuatro expositores de relevancia nacional.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ricardo Mi\u00f1o, Asesor especialista en cerezos, expuso sobre \u00abProducci\u00f3n eficiente y efectiva en cerezos\u00bb; Ignacio Jofr\u00e9, Director de la Red chilena de Bioinsumos, ofreci\u00f3 la charla titulada \u00abDesaf\u00edos para bioestimulantes made in Chile\u00bb, adem\u00e1s Luis Devotto se refiri\u00f3 al \u00abImpacto de Drosophila suzukii <\/em>en la industria frut\u00edcola y en las comunidades del Maule\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sobre la exitosa actividad, Claudio Fredes, decano de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias y Forestales (FACAF) de la UCM, destac\u00f3 su importancia para fortalecer la vinculaci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEs de primera importancia para la Facultad porque muestra al medio que estamos enfocados en retribuir lo que necesitan, el medio necesita capacitaci\u00f3n, investigaci\u00f3n y asistencia t\u00e9cnica. Estamos muy enfocados en la vinculaci\u00f3n y lo demostramos con esta primera versi\u00f3n de la Expo Agro-Sostenible, la cual esperamos que se repita todos los a\u00f1os, tuvimos cuatro destacados expositores y 19 stand, entonces hay un conjunto de gente que est\u00e1 demostrando a los productores y a nuestros propios estudiantes que nos interesa mucho vincularnos con el medio\u201d<\/em>, resalt\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, Mar\u00eda Alejandra Y\u00e1\u00f1ez, directora de la Escuela de Agronom\u00eda indic\u00f3 que: \u201cLa Escuela de Agronom\u00eda tiene excelentes acad\u00e9micos, 340 estudiantes, pero priorizamos hacer ciencia entre nosotros los investigadores. Tenemos las herramientas, y queremos ser un aporte al medio, y trabajar en conjunto, por lo que hemos decidido hacer esta actividad, en la cual tenemos 19 stand con distintos profesionales que participaron mostrando distintas \u00e1reas de lo que es la agricultura, tanto convencional como de precisi\u00f3n\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y agreg\u00f3: \u201cEl que nos hayan aceptado la invitaci\u00f3n excelentes asesores agr\u00edcolas de importancia nacional y tambi\u00e9n investigadores de alto nivel llama la atenci\u00f3n de la comunidad, hemos tenido una buena acogida tanto por parte de los agricultores, en los sectores aleda\u00f1os, en las empresas y en nuestros estudiantes que ven lo relevante que es tener este tipo de investigadores en nuestra Escuela de Agronom\u00eda\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tecnolog\u00eda en el agro <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fueron cientos las personas que disfrutaron de los distintos stands en la expo y de las charlas que se llevaron a cabo en el auditorio, no obstante, algo que llam\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n de los espectadores fueron los drones, maquinarias y la apicultura, lo que fue destacado por el Dr. Ricardo Castro, acad\u00e9mico de la Escuela de Agronom\u00eda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMucho de la evoluci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica que ha llevado al agro en la b\u00fasqueda de sustentabilidad, poder reducir el uso indiscriminado de pesticidas, muchas veces est\u00e1 disperso en libros o en papers que se pueden mencionar en clases, pero es distinto cuando se puede establecer este v\u00ednculo entre las distintas motivaciones privadas en esa tecnolog\u00eda y poder aglomerarla en la Universidad\u201d,<\/em> resalt\u00f3 Castro.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En tanto, Dayana Melara, encargada de pilotaje y mantenci\u00f3n de drones agr\u00edcolas de la empresa Geocad hizo hincapi\u00e9 en la importancia de la actividad, tanto para la Casa de Estudios m\u00e1s grande de la Regi\u00f3n del Maule, como para las empresas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMe parece una excelente iniciativa porque aqu\u00ed pueden converger las empresas que dan servicio a la agricultura, as\u00ed como nosotros que tenemos el servicio de fumigaci\u00f3n de cultivos, adem\u00e1s del \u00e1rea de topograf\u00eda y fotogrametr\u00eda, entre otras\u201d<\/em>, he commented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, Juan Coloma, product manager de Abonos San Francisco, empresa dedicada a promover los suelos vivos dijo que: \u201cEs una gran instancia para darse a conocer, para intercambiar ideas con posibles clientes, con otras empresas del rubro y con estudiantes que son los futuros profesionales que van a estar trabajando en los campos de nuestro pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uno de los puestos que m\u00e1s llam\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n fue el de la Cooperativa Ap\u00edcola Potrero Grande, donde expusieron a las abejas para explicar los procesos de recolecci\u00f3n de miel, por lo que uno de sus representantes, Daniel D\u00edaz agradeci\u00f3 el espacio para dar a conocer el trabajo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPara nosotros como apicultores es maravilloso porque nos servir\u00e1 para que nos conozcan, tenemos miel directa de la abeja, el arrope y el polen o prop\u00f3leo (\u2026) las personas tienen curiosidad por saber el trabajo de las abejas\u201d,<\/em> ended.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
